New Zealand Wedding Photographer of the Year 2018

The Nikon/NZIPP Epson Iris Awards 2018 were held in Wellington again this year. After hearing that I was a finalist again for both the In-Camera Artistry and Open categories, I made the trip down to Wellington in the hope that I would win at least one of them. I ended up winning both categories and I am super stoked to say that I am NZIPP's Wedding Photographer of the Year for 2018!

Last year the Open category was named 'Creative' and I won this last year too, so to win it again this year was

Hannah + Ryan got married at the beautiful Kauri Bay Boomrock in Clevedon.

I always enjoy March weddings, it’s slightly cooler (less sweaty) weather, and I just love Autumn light. The wind did blow a bit though, as you will see in the pics, all the challenges and fun times Hannah had with her veil :)

Emma + Nathan’s wedding was nothing short of awesome. The girls started their day by getting ready in an apartment at the Oceanside Resort & Twin Towers in Mount Maunganui. Followed by the ceremony and two of the cutest little flower girls you’ll ever see. Fun times with the
