I started my career photographing bands and musicians. I was lucky enough to get opportunities to photograph some awesome local and international acts live on stage. I loved the excitement of each show. The sound, the rush, the buzz, the lights, the energy - everything! With most of these acts, we were only given photo pit access for the first 3 songs. Metallica songs are about 10 minutes long each though, so that meant a good 20-30 minutes in the pit for that show. Being a big Metallica fan, it was definitely one of the highlights for me. Others you’ll find in this gallery are Coldplay, John Mayer, Santana, Johnny Clegg, The Cult, Aloe Blacc, Michael Franti, John Butler Trio, Santana etc.
