Bayley and Liam’s wedding at L’Orangerie in Tauranga was nothing short of magical. From the moment the day started, it was clear this was going to be one for the books—pure love, tight-knit family vibes, and their loyal four-legged companion, Myka (their 4-year-old golden Labrador), always by their side.
If you haven’t come across L’Orangerie, it’s one of Tauranga’s most charming wedding venues. Inspired by the elegance of the French countryside, this spot is packed with character. Think lush gardens, fragrant orange trees, rustic stonework, and panoramic views stretching out over rolling hills—it’s a photographer’s dream and the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable wedding.
A Wedding Day Full of Emotion & Joy
Bayley and Liam’s day had it all—big laughs, heartfelt moments, and a whole lot of energy! One of the most touching parts was the first look between Bayley and her dad—an emotional moment that had everyone (including me) holding back tears. It’s these raw, unscripted moments that make wedding photography so powerful.
Then there was Myka, stealing hearts all day long. Whether it was chilling at their feet during the ceremony or making an appearance in the portraits, this pup was a VIP guest. There’s something extra special about including pets in your wedding—it just makes everything feel that much more personal.
Warm, soft light filtering through the gardens made for some awesome dusk portraits. Bayley and Liam made the most of it, sneaking away for 15 minutes before heading back to party the night away with their guests.
